ERA Course


The 5-day ERA course provides theory & methodology sessions and covers the most widely used clinical applications of ERA & OAE tests, both in the classroom and in practical sessions where you can develop your clinical skills by performing tests on fellow course participants.

 

Most of the topics of the Newborn ABR Course and Refresher Day are included.

• Stimulus calibration

• BSA ABR guidance and interpretation advice

• ABR techniques (+practicals)

• CAEP techniques (+practical)

Newborn ABR Course


The 3-day Newborn ABR course omits basic ERA theory and concentrates on ABR testing of babies, including CM testing, masking and test strategy, both in the classroom and in practical sessions where you can develop your clinical skills by performing tests on fellow course participants.

Neurological ABR testing, cortical tests and OAE tests are not covered.

• AC threshold ABR (+practical)

• BC threshold ABR (+practical)

• ASSR tests (+practical)

• Tests for auditory neuropathy

• Reporting

• Peer Review

• Case studies & discussions

ABR Refresher Day


As the name implies, this refresher day is for those who have already attended the ERA or Newborn ABR course and what to update their knowledge.

It is a classroom session without practicals.

This course is not a substitute for formal training in ABR.
